Proficiency Examinations
Students may request a proficiency examination prior to the end of the add/drop period provided they have not previously enrolled in the course at DeVry. Approved nationally normed tests (e.g., CLEP, AP, DANTES) may also be recognized for proficiency credit. Graduation requirements satisfied by transfer or proficiency credit are included when determining a student's academic level and progress; however, this credit is not included in GPA's.
